SOCIAL COMMITTEE
This past year, the HOA welcomed 14 homes to the neighborhood by delivering welcome baskets. Welcome to all the new homeowners.
ARCHITECTURE REVIEW
Thank you to all who submitted the required ARB request for projects around the exterior of your home. The committee approved sixteen (16) requests for the year. Just a reminder to check the city codes for your projects; i.e. driveway redo, deck repair/replace, shed size. Also, paint color needs to be approved before you buy the paint. That includes shutters and trim. Roof replacement requires ARB approval, if changing color.
CODES AND STANDARDS
There are several residences in violation of property standards set by the HOA and the City of Blue Springs. Please see the Quick Reference of Property Use Restrictions, https://eastridgemeadowshoa.com.
In order to maintain the appearance of our neighborhood and property values, we will be addressing issues such as trailers in driveways, in-operable vehicles parked on the street, neglected exterior maintenance, large work trucks parked on the street, neglected landscaping, etc. If you are out of compliance, please take action before you are given a violation.
If you would like to be an active member of the Codes and Standards Committee, please send
an email to : board@eastridgemeadowshoa.com.
BLUE BRANCH PROJECT
The HOA maintains a piece of property at the south end of the subdivision that was designed for storm detention pond but the Blue Branch River runs beside the detention pond that has bank erosion and needs to be addressed. The board is looking at all options in design and city help. Sean Clemons, VP will be speaking in regard to this situation at our Annual meeting.
