  1. How many homes are in EastRidge and how old is subdivision?
    There are 220 single-family homes. The subdivision is approximately 16-18 years old.
  2. What are the yearly dues? $75/year for the years 2018 & 2019
  3. What do I get for my money?
    • Two maintained entrances, common frontage area on AA, and maintenance of common area east of the subdivision
    • Annual garage sale and marketing
    • Dumpster drop off
    • Attendance at a wide variety of subdivision events such as annual picnic, Easter Egg Hunt, Fourth of July parade, among others.
    • Discount on Trash removal through EWS
    • Hospitality baskets for new residents
  4. How is EastRidge managed?
    By a voluntary Board of Directors elected by the membership which makes up the Eastridge Homeowners’ Association. Email the board if you are interested in serving on the board.
  5. Is membership in the homeowners’ association optional?
    No.
  6. Are there rules that govern the appearance of the neighborhood?
    Yes. The Eastridge Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions outlines these rules and an Architectural Review Board (ARB) consisting of at least 3 homeowners enforcing them. Some examples: all roofs are the same color, no antennas are permitted on the roofs, no chain link fences allowed, no above ground pools, no major automotive repair permitted for prolonged periods on property, color of houses needs to be preapproved, no permanent parking of boats, trailers, campers, RVs , wave runners, etc on the driveway, among others.
  7. What happens if I don’t pay my dues?
    Invoices are sent to homeowners approx. Jan 15th of each year. Annual Dues are due Feb 15th, Delinquent March 1st. Late payment will result in a 10% annual late fee on all unpaid balances, assessed March 1st of each year.  After two unsuccessful attempts by letter in any calendar year, the Board of Directors may file a lien on your property by June 15th.  You would be required to pay for the full amount of the lien and $42 in lien filing and release fees.  Continued late payment could also result in a small claims court action.
  8. How does one keep current with events and issues in the neighborhood?
    • Newsletter published annually
    • Individual letters through the mail

    • Open annual homeowners meetings
    • Through our regularly updated website
    • Through Facebook group (Eastridge Meadows Homeowners )
    • Signs posted at entrances
  9. How can I get involved?
    Serve on the board, volunteer on any of the short-term committees, help out at individual social events, be a block captain in our neighborhood watch program, be a judge in our “Yard of the Month” or “Holiday Decorating” contests, or be on the volunteer committee which volunteers sweat equity to help keep the cost of maintenance down.
  10. Hospitality Baskets
    Starting in 2017, Welcome Baskets are delivered about a month after a new resident moves in and are paid for out of HOA dues.
  11. Where is Eastridge Meadows subdivision located in Blue Springs?
    Off AA Hwy…East of Adams Dairy Parkway.
